Jennifer Nettles

Nettles is a singer that was greatly influenced by a diverse mix of musical styles including blues folk, rock and soul. These influences can be seen in her songs. Her musical career started in 1996 when she performed with Soul Miner's daughter in Atlanta as well as Decatur. Nettles was a performer since 7 years old, is not ashamed to display her witty personality and she does not shy away from writing songs of soul and power and a compelling and lyrical message. Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on November 18th 1985. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School.
