Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a privileged family. Alison is the youngest among three siblings. She was a nun in a convent and developed a love for artwork. In the following years in the convent, she returned to National College of Fine Arts in Dublin. But due to a lack of motivation she decided she needed some time off and gave it ten months. While in a restaurant with friends She was contacted by a still photographer, who asked her if she would consider modeling. The model agreed because she'd be able to take the money to pocket cash. In no time, she began working professional as modeling. Modeling contracts lead to commercial opportunities and eventually took her across the globe. After watching her performance, she was encouraged to take up modeling. When she was 19, she was sent to London, where she won the chance to audition for A View to a Kill ( 1985) which was a brand new James Bond movie. Her passion for acting inspired her to take up acting as a profession. In the wake of her first feature and a short film, she filmed a couple of TV dramas in London as well as in Dublin But her most memorable breakthrough came when she was cast as Aryan lover the Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
